Well it was a good campout.
Rain on Saturday turned our campsite into a mud bog. I did not take as many pictures as I wanted to.
But it was still a great time.
I can not get a slide show into a post the way I want to, so here is the flickr link
God Bless

I know it was just great to be out there though. Even rain and mud. Nice tarp on your hammock set-up! Which one is it?
How'd the eureka solo tent fare? Looks like it was sagging a little in the rain. Also, what looked like a tarp next to it looked like it eventually gave up the ghost...
Good pics and thanks for sharing!
Yep a bad day soouting beats a good day just about anywhere.
The tarp on the hammock is a MacCat Deluxe from Brian at http://www.outdoorequipmentsupplier.com/
The solos did fine, the 3 mil polytarp was fine night one, he got to see the racoon visitor up close, he yanked his gear on a break end ended up in a tent as he was coming down with something. His pitch was a little loose with the tree anyway. The guys are getting away from using the troop 2/3 man tents (there is one green/beige on in the pics) moving toward backpackable personal tents and tarps. I had to look back, there were four solos (1 adult and 3 scouts)
Hammocks have not yet caught on, I will probaly have to make a couple to send to summer camp and see if I get some converts.
Thanks for stopping by and do take care
Mac
